FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - The 32-year-old Fond du Lac caretaker accused of breaking an infant's arm at daycare had her cash bond set at $2,500 and has officially been charged.

Ashley Karschnick faces one count of physical abuse of a child for an alleged incident where she broke a child's arm at a Fond du Lac daycare on October 13. If convicted, she would face up to 3.5 years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines.

In a criminal complaint filed on Thursday, a detective with the Fond du Lac Police Department said he responded to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee for an infant with a broken arm, said to be caused at the daycare in Fond du Lac.

A video provided by the daycare's owner reportedly showed the incident. The complaint states that the infant was normally moving their arms when dropped
