( 25News Now ) - The family of Illinois GOP candidate for governor Darren Bailey is receiving condolences following the death of his son, daughter-in-law, and two of their grandchildren.

A helicopter crash Wednesday night killed son Zachary, wife Kelsey, and Vada Rose, age 12, and Samuel, age 7.

A third grandson, Finn, age 10, was not on the helicopter and is safe.

NBC Montana said the National Transportation Safety Board reports a Robinson Helicopters R66 crashed near Ekalaka, Montana.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker offered condolences from himself and Illinois First Lady MK Pritzker.
