INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - An Independence man is behind bars after police say he may have severely injured an infant.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Oct. 22, indicate that Brandon K. Good, 29, of Independence, has been charged with 2 counts of child abuse.
A probable cause statement filed by the Independence Police Department revealed that on Oct. 13, investigators were called to Children’s Mercy Hospital .

Staff reported that they had concerns that an infant had been abused when a CT scan revealed multiple brain bleeds. There were no signs of external trauma, indicating that this may have been an act of abuse.
