LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Congressman Morgan McGarvey was in Louisville on Thursday listening to constituents about the rising costs of healthcare, among other necessities.
The congressman visited South Louisville on Thursday, Oct. 23, making a stop at the Iroquois Family Health Center and the Iroquois High School Health Clinic, both on Taylor Boulevard.
There, he talked to families who are struggling to pay medical bills.
Representative McGarvey fears that if the government doesn’t reopen soon, more people will lose their medical insurance, and healthcare providers will be stretched thinner than they already are.
