LSU freshman offensive lineman Carius Curne will start at left tackle in place of injured starter and redshirt sophomore Tyree Adams this Saturday when the Tigers take on Texas A&M (6:30 p.m., ABC), coach Brian Kelly said on his radio show Thursday.

Saturday will be Curne's first start at left tackle and his second career start. He started at right tackle in place of redshirt freshman Weston Davis against Ole Miss in Week 5. Davis suffered a concussion and a broken nose in pregame warmups.

Against the Rebels, he allowed just one quarterback hit and no sacks, according to Pro Football Focus.

Adams is out for this Saturday's game against the Aggies and is expected to miss the next four to five weeks after suffering a high ankle sprain last week against Vanderbilt.
