CHEYENNE — Not all stories can be written or told; sometimes movement and instrumentals alone can convey just as powerful a message.

Ballet is one of these means of nonverbal storytelling. With a long history dating back to 15th century Renaissance Italy, their pointe shoes and tutus remain a staple of the dance and entertainment world today.

Cheyenne Presents often brings multiple ballet shows to the Cheyenne Civic Center, and this year, they’re bringing in quite a few unique themes that many will recognize, but may have never gotten the chance to see before, from companies all over the world.
