NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (KCAU) — It is hard to overlook the accomplishments of Eddie Rickenbacker. You may not know that name, but it is etched into the history books of this city.

Locals are familiar with the location of Graham Airfield on the city's northeast side, where plans call for private development in the area.

Today, the street sign near the airstrip pays homage to, not a pilot, but perhaps the most well-known racer of the time, Fast Eddie Rickenbacker.
