A woman has been charged with murder and arson after a woman and two boys died in a house fire in Gladstone, on Queensland 's central coast.

Jordana Johnson, 36, Jordan Norris, 13 and Chazz Mather, 12 were found dead in a home on Whiting Street in Toolooa after fire tore through the home about 6am on October 15.

Homicide detectives began investigating the fire and deaths the following day.

A 37-year-old woman from Toolooa has today been charged with three counts of murder, and two counts of arson.

She is expected to face a bedside hearing today.

The Gladstone community expressed its shock and grief in the days following the deaths.
