BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Four people were displaced for the day after a fire in a multi-family home Thursday evening in Bismarck.
According to the Bismarck Fire Department, firefighters responded to a home on the 300 block of E Thayer Ave. for reports of a fire at about 6 p.m.
Firefighters say nothing showed from outside the building. They went inside, where they found light smoke conditions and fire damage in the kitchen area. They quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the structure.
All occupants of the home safely evacuated before crews arrived, and no injuries were reported. Four people were displaced for the evening due to fire and smoke damage.
The fire was determined to be accidental.
