Legendary advertising expert Piyush Pandey, celebrated for creating some of India’s most memorable campaigns, has passed away at the age of 70. Known for iconic slogans like the BJP’s 2014 ‘acche din aane wale hai,’ Fevicol’s ‘fevicol ka jod, tutee nahi’ and Cadbury Dairy Milk’s ‘kuch khaas hai.’ He began his career in 1982 at Ogilvy & Mather India as a trainee account executive and later transitioned to the creative team, eventually rising to top positions, including National Creative Director, Executive Chairman (India), and Global Chief Creative Officer.
Over decades, he transformed advertising in India by blending creativity with a deep understanding of Indian culture. His contributions earned him the Padma Shri in 2016 and the LIA Legend Award in 2024. As the industry mourns his loss
