Date night can mean a lot of things to different people. For some, it’s a special night away from the kids. For others, it’s a weekly ritual. But for most, it’s simply quality time spent with someone you love.

When it comes to our own date nights, we like to mix activities, and there’s nothing quite like the classic combination of dinner and a show.

One of our favourite spots for dinner is in downtown St. Catharines at Pharmacii ( 22 King St. ), known for its Asian-influenced contemporary cuisine. Most of the dishes come in a tapas-style format meant for sharing, and the cocktails are among the best you’ll find in the city. We’ll let you be the judge of that.
