DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KAIT) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a Dunklin County Jail corrections officer after an inappropriate relationship with an inmate was reported to police.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim told a deputy that she and Officer Timothy Lowry had been involved in a relationship for about one month.

Security footage showed Lowry and the victim in the jail medical room on Oct. 6 and 7. The two were briefly out of camera sight on both occasions.

A judge found probable cause to charge Lowry with sexual conduct in the course of public duty, a Class E felony.

An arrest warrant was issued on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and a $25,000 cash or surety bond has been set.
