Someone made a bomb threat to the Gaston County administration building, and a suspect was taken into custody just over 10 minutes later, according to the Gaston County Sheriff's Office.
The bomb threat was made at 1:27 p.m. on Oct. 22, and the person was apprehended by the Sheriff's Office at 1:39 p.m., the Sheriff's Office said.
County spokesman Adam Gaub said that law enforcement evacuated the building after the threat was made, and police were able to establish that the building was safe in about 20 minutes.
