Nike began its 3D printing journey with Zellerfeld by rejiggering the original Air Max sneaker, and for phase two, they’re now moving on to another icon of the franchise.
The Nike Air Max 95000 continues the year of the “Big Bubble” Air Max 95 with a new form of 3D-printing technology called Project Nectar, allowing for the creation of greater details. You can see it in the sweeping line coursing through the upper much like its source material, and the tech rears its head again on logos and outsole, the latter of which for the purpose of greater durability and traction. Each of these elements are green on the shoe’s debut colorway, allowing them to stand out from the 3D-printing tech previously used on the Air Max 1000 .
