A pair of Cougars took home the titles in this week's Champion Chevrolet Athlete of the Week contests.

Spanish Springs cross country's Taizley Felsted won the Champion Chevrolet Girls Athlete of the Week title for the week of Oct. 13-19, 2025, with 42.4% of the vote. Felsted won the North Valleys Chase Race on Thursday, Oct. 16 in 20:23.

The junior picked up 18,289 of the 43,147 votes cast — the highest vote total for any girls poll this fall.

On the boys side, Spanish Springs football's Jackson Sundeen took Champion Chevrolet Boys Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13-19 after collecting 7,240 of the 15,309 votes cast (47.3%).

Sundeen had 11 receptions for 110 yards and three touchdowns in the Cougars' 42-0 win over Douglas in football on Oct 17.
