EXCLUSIVE: Immersive experiences production studio Wevr , which counts Warner Bros Discovery among its investors, has opened a European office in Malta .
Wevr co-founder and CEO Neville Spiteri said the base meant his company was “positioned to bridge U.S. and EU talent, advancing the frontier of global immersive entertainment .”
The Venice Beach-based studio, which focuses on developing and producing immersive experiences out of L.A., will establish a talent residency program in Malta.
Wevr is known for social experiences such as The Blu, in which teams of up to six people don VR headsets and travel to undersea world on an extraordinary mission to rescue endangered blue whales.
