Nine children and one women were hospitalized late Thursday with “severe injuries” after an Orlando car crash, though four of the kids have since been released from the hospital, officials said Friday

The five other children and the women remain hospitalized but are in stable condition, according to Orlando Health.

The 10 people were injured when the car they were in struck a tree after it was rear-ended on Raleigh Street east of Campanella Avenue, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The children’s ages ranged from 3 to 14 while the woman injured in the crash is 58.

The crash happened around 6:45 p.m., when an unnamed 29-year-old driver of an Alfa Romeo struck the Nissan Altima carrying the 10 victims. The Nissan then ran off the roadway and slammed into a tree.
