LINCOLN, Neb. —
Lincoln police identified the 43-year-old woman who was found dead in an apartment complex as part of an apparent homicide investigation.
Officials said Tracy Henman was found dead in her home with neck injuries on Thursday after officers entered the property on Deweese Drive near 56th and Holdrege streets during a check welfare call.

Lincoln police said officers were alerted by concerned family members of the woman and they let police into the apartment with a key.
The suspect, identified as a 40-year-old Lincoln man known to Henman, is still in the hospital with injuries from the incident, officials said. His name has not been released and charges are pending.
