POTTER COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - Today the 47th District Attorney’s Office announced the sentencing of two people in DWI cases.
In the first case, a jury in the 181st District Court found Tara Rios guilty of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 in the vehicle.
The jury gave her the maximum punishment under the law, two years in state jail and a maximum fine.
In the second case, a jury in the 320th District Court found Juan Gonzalez Salazar guilty of driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
The jury also sentenced him to two years in the TDCJ.
