LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Alaska Airlines said it is working to restore operations after a significant IT outage led to a ground stop for all of its flights on Thursday and the cancellation of more than 360 flights, according to a statement released by the airline.

As of Friday morning, at least a half-dozen flights to or from Las Vegas are showing as canceled at Harry Reid International Airport. The flights mostly connect Las Vegas with West Coast cities, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.

"We sincerely apologize to our guests whose travel plans have been disrupted. We’re working to get them to their destinations as quickly as we can. Before heading to the airport, we encourage flyers to check their flight status.

The airline said the IT outage is not a cybersecurity
