LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — While tourists and locals watch the stunning displays on Sphere, a new addition on top is watching for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) in the skies above Las Vegas.
In an announcement Friday on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the project was revealed publicly for the first time. Professor Avi Loeb of the Harvard Astronomy Center for Astrophysics — and the leader of the Galileo Project — said the state-of-the-art Galileo Observatory will analyze visible and infrared light for UAPs.
Loeb said in an article published on Medium: One thing is clear: "What happens over the sky of Vegas, will not stay in Vegas."
