KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man is behind bars in connection to a fatal road rage shooting from September.

Court documents filed Thursday in Jackson County charge 20-year-old Laken Logan with second-degree murder for a fatal shooting on Sept. 23, 2025, in northeast Kansas City.

Officers with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department were called to the intersection of NE Chouteau Trafficway and Gardner Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. that night and found a man with trauma to his head.

The man, later identified as 57-year-old Cleveland Wright, was declared dead at 8:51 p.m. after being declared dead at the hospital.
