Two more people have been infected in an outbreak in the Upstate, raising the total to 22, the state Department of Public Health announced . The agency is offering more chances for people in Spartanburg County to get vaccinated at its mobile clinics as uptake has increased.
Public health said Oct. 24 that the two new cases in Spartanburg County were close contacts of people already infected and were quarantining at home when they were diagnosed. The quick isolation of those exposed to the highly contagious virus is likely limiting the spread, the department said.
