STORRS, CT (WFSB) - It’s a ring fit for queens.

The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team unveiled the look of its 2025 NCAA Tournament championship ring.

UConn said the ring was designed by Paige Bueckers, Caroline Ducharme, and Azzi Fudd.

“I’m a huge silver girlie,” Bueckers said in a social media video that was posted on Friday. “We all collaborated, we wanted mostly silver. But we got the national championship trophy as the gold, of course.”

Bueckers went on to describe how the ring says “UConn” across the front, along with the phrase “national champs.”

The ring features a lot of blue in addition to the silver.

“And lots of diamonds, of course, on the side,” Bueckers said. “You got your last name and your number [on one side].”
