TULSA – The number of Oklahoma families who work hard but still can’t get ahead is growing as the cost of basics needs has increased faster than overall inflation for more than a decade, a new report released by Tulsa Area United Way reveals.
The total number of households in Oklahoma grew by 10% between 2010 and 2023 while households that are struggling economically grew by 22%.
