The National Weather Service released a wind advisory at 10:30 a.m. on Friday valid from 8 p.m. until Saturday 8 p.m. for Central Douglas County and Eastern Curry County and Josephine County.
The weather service says, “Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
