The Traffic Police and local administration have prepared a special diversion plan for Saturday and Sunday considering the possibility of a rise in tourist numbers visiting Nainital, Bhimtal and other popular tourist destinations nearby.

According to the police, visitors travelling from Nainital and Jyolikot towards Kainchi Dham will park their vehicles at the Bhawali sanatorium and use the shuttle service to reach Kainchi Dham. Those travelling from Bhimtal to Kainchi Dham will park their vehicles at Vikas Bhawan and use the bus shuttle service. Heavy vehicles travelling from Haldwani to the mountainous areas will be sent from Bhimtal Road via Khutani and Mukteshwar to reach their destinations.
