The 64th raising day of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was celebrated with enthusiasm at the 34th battalion in Halduchaur in Nainital district on Friday. Various events were also held under the Fit India campaign to mark the occasion. The function was held under the guidance of the commandant Anil Singh Bisht. Speaking on the occasion, the commandant said that the ITBP’s role is not limited to guarding the nation’s border as it also strives to spread the feeling of fitness, discipline and awareness in the society.
