BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- After a gauntlet stretch which featured four-straight ranked teams, Alabama looks to avoid the trap game against South Carolina on the road.

The No. 4 Crimson Tide are coming off a win against rival Tennessee, 37-20. It was a dominant effort from Alabama, as the defense held the top offense in the country to 20 points. A 99-yard pick six by Zabien Brown to end the first-half completely flipped momentum in favor of the Tide. Ty Simpson continues on his Heisman campaign, as he went 19-of-29 for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

South Carolina, like Alabama, is in the middle of a tough stretch, with Alabama marking its third straight ranked opponent and two more to follow. The Gamecocks have struggled offensively over the past two weeks, scoring a combined 17 points.
