A large crane collapsed on the waterfront in Everett, Massachusetts on Friday afternoon, killing two people.
Skyeye was over the scene on Rover Street, not far from the Encore Boston Harbor casino, where the crane was tipped over and part of it was submerged in the water. Emergency vehicles were also on the scene.
"This is a very commercialized space. With regards to any type of extrication, it does warrant a large amount of resources and technical expertise," said Everett Fire Chief Joe Hickey.
Hickey confirmed one person was killed and another was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Neither person's name has been released but Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria said they were both men in their 30s or 40s.
