STORRS, Conn. (WTNH) -- University of Connecticut men's basketball freshman Braylon Mullins is expected to miss the first six weeks of the 2025-2026 season with an ankle injury.
According to Director of Men's Basketball Communications Bobby Mullen, Mullins suffered the injury during a practice earlier this week. The initial timetable for a full return is around six weeks and Mullins will be continuously evaluated during that time.
A McDonalds All-American and Indiana "Mr. Basketball" as a high school student, Mullins was named Big East Conference Preseason Freshman of the Year on Tuesday.
