Tonight: It will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, and remain chilly. Temperatures will dip into the upper-40s to the mid-50s.
Weekend Outlook: An upper-level trough and low pressure will move through Alabama on Sunday. Saturday will be partly to mostly cloudy, but still pleasant with highs in the upper 70s.
The system will move into Alabama on Sunday, bringing scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s on Sunday afternoon.
Rain totals could be around 1 to 2 inches or more, helping with the ongoing drought. This could lead to minor flooding issues. WPC has highlighted all of Central Alabama in a Level 1/4 Marginal Risk for flash flooding.
