MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Two people are in custody after police chased suspects in a carjacking through the streets of Memphis.

The carjacking was reported at the intersection of Mississippi Boulevard and East Trigg Avenue just after 1:30 p.m.

Officers located the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop, sparking a pursuit.

The chase came to an end when the suspects’ vehicle crashed with two other cars at Shelby Drive and Third Street.

Two people were taken into custody and taken to the hospital for their injuries.

Two other people involved in the crash were also hospitalized.

All four are in non-critical condition.

It’s unclear what charges the two unidentified suspects will face.
