AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - After the cops were called, a car burglary suspect tried to hide among some kids at a school bus stop, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened after deputies got multiple reports of people getting into cars around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Parc at Flowing Wells Apartments, 1150 Interstate Parkway.

Officer training council opens investigation against fired Richmond County deputy

A Richmond County deputy is now under investigation after she was terminated and charged in connection with a criminal investigation.

A caller gave deputies a description of one of the suspects, and he was found hiding among some children at a school bus stop, deputies said.
