COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Resident sign-ups for The Big Event 2026 are now open.

Every spring, Aggie students show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing and painting.

The Big Event is the largest one-day student-run service project in the nation.

The event has now spread to over 100 additional universities across the nation as other schools show the same gratitude toward their own communities.

Residents within a 25 mile radius of the Texas A&M campus can register here for job requests.

The deadline to sign up is February 28.

The Big Event 2026 will take place on March 21, 2026.
