A woman was injured in an early Friday morning crash in southwest Jasper. It happened on Highway 190 West at Marvin Hancock Drive.

According to the police report, Andrea Young, 44, of Kirbyville, was driving a Toyota Corolla eastbound on Highway 190 while John Hext, 17, of Newton, was driving a Jeep Gladiator southbound on Marvin Hancock Drive.

The report said both drivers claimed that they had a green light.

Young was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
