DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Warsaw man is behind bars after deputies found stolen tools, including a UTV, from a farm.
On October 6th, Duplin County deputies were called to a farm in the Warsaw area for a report of theft. We were told that several tools, a gun, and a Polaris Ranger UTV were reported stolen.
Deputies say surveillance cameras caught a man on the farm at the time of the theft.
A subsequent search was conducted at Christopher Howard’s home in Warsaw. Deputies say they recovered stolen items, including tools and power equipment.
Deputies say the stolen UTV was found through tips from the community.
The 40-year-old was charged with two counts of larceny, larceny of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of stolen goods, obtain property by false pretens
