EUGENE, Ore. - Mount Pisgah Arboretum, Lane Community College, and the Cascade Mycological Society are hosting their annual Mushroom Festival this Sunday, organizers said.
The event, which is set from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 26, promises a celebration of mycology, local food, music, and crafts. According to Mount Pisgah Arboretum officials, the festival will feature educational mushroom displays, guided nature walks, fresh cider pressing, and hay rides. It is expected to draw nearly 4,000 visitors, marking it as the Arboretum's largest fundraiser.
