SAGINAW TWP., Mich. (WNEM) – The Michigan Department of Attorney General (AG) reviewed the officer-involved shooting death that happened at Mercantile Bank in Saginaw Township over the summer, concluding that the officer acted in defense of others.
On June 27, Quentin Marquese Allen entered Mercantile Bank on State Street and demanded money from the single employee working at the location, said the AG’s office. The employee was on the phone, and the person on the other end hung up and called 911 to alert authorities of the suspected robbery.
