QUINCY (WGEM) - Halloween is still a week away, but families in Quincy can experience the spooky season early Saturday, Oct. 25.
The District’s annual Trick or Treat event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
More than 40 downtown businesses will open their doors to hand out candy and goodies.
This year’s event will also feature a new Trunk or Treat section in the First Mid Bank and Trust plaza, photo opportunities, free Pour Haus drip coffee and plenty of fun.
“It draws a big crowd down here to show off what’s available, but it’s also a wonderful community event to have, and the businesses love it. I come down here and it’s just a lot of fun and a lot of good will,” said Brianna Rivera, The District’s executive director.
