QUINCY (WGEM) - This week was National Teen Driver Safety Week. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, car crashes account for a third of all teenage deaths.
In 2023, more than 2,600 people died, and more than 170,000 people were hurt in a crash involving a teenager.
Quincy resident Grace Baudino is on the verge of a major milestone.
“I still have three months until I can get my license,” Grace said.
Come January, she plans on becoming a licensed driver.
“When you get in the car, it’s time to be serious,” Grace said.
Grace’s dad, Jared Baudino, is on round four of teaching his kids to drive. He said this time is different because Grace has caught on so well.
