SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Halloween comes with trick-or-treating for kids, but it can mean pub crawls, parties, and drinking for young adults.
The Arkansas Department of Health says it’s important to pace yourself, with Halloween being the start of a spike in drinking through the new year.
Between the holidays, some turn to alcohol to unwind without realizing it can be a problem. If you’re struggling with drinking or trying to stay sober, this can be a difficult time of year. Social pressures and fear of missing out also tend to encourage people to drink more.
