ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A woman was killed and a 1-year-old was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash Oct. 19 in Etowah County.

Authorities say Amber N. Lee, 22, of Blountsville died when the Camry she was a passenger in was hit by the driver of a pickup. After that collision, the Camry was hit by another pickup.

The driver of the Camry was hurt and taken to UAB Hospital. A 1-year-old passenger in the Camry was also taken to the hospital.

The driver of the first pickup was also taken to UAB Hospital.

A passenger in the second pickup was taken to Gadsden Regional Hospital.

The crash happened on U.S. 278 near the 120 mile marker, approximately five miles west of Attalla, in Etowah County.
