MIDDLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — The Middleboro man accused of stabbing his mother's boyfriend more than a dozen times earlier this year is now facing charges in Brockton Superior Court, according to Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz.
Andrew Horsman, 41, pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder Friday in connection with the stabbing death of 66-year-old Paul Pomerleau.
Cruz said officers rushed to a Fairview Street home back in June after receiving several 911 calls about a fight between two men that ended in a stabbing.
The officers found the Pomerleau on the ground suffering from several stab wounds. He was rushed to Morton Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the two men had an argument at the home over cooking steaks prior to the stabbing. Cruz sai
