Authorities are investigating a deadly crane collapse in Everett, Massachusetts, on Friday afternoon that killed two people.
The collapse occurred in the area of Rover St. on Island End near the now-defunct power plant.
Everett Fire Chief John Hickey said in a press conference that one person is deceased and a second person was transported to the hospital.
Sister station WCVB has learned the person in the hospital has since died.
The identity of the deceased individuals are not being released at this time, only that the victims were two young men.
Hickey did not say whether or not the two people were inside the crane at the time of the collapse.
