The Falcon RV Squadron out of Falcon Field in Peachtree City delivered a special pregame moment Friday night with a ceremonial flyover above East Coweta High School in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Approximately six aircraft flew over the stadium in formation several times before kickoff.
According to Monica Benjamin of the Falcon RV Squadron, the group wanted to show support for the community and for those impacted by breast cancer.
Two East Coweta administrators experienced the flyover firsthand. Assistant Principal Kristin Harris and Athletic Director Lee Heaberlin were invited as passengers, riding along in the aircraft during the formation flight.
