ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WTVD) -- A sixth person has been arrested after two young people were shot and killed back in July.

This is in connection with a murder investigation involving 19-year-old Ryo Steele and 20-year-old La'ren Dickens.

The two were shot and killed on the morning of July 13 at the MLK Park on East Virginia street.

Rocky Mount police say 24-year-old, Darius Dales, is charged with murder.

He was already being held at the Edgecombe County Jail on a different case.
