Friday evening update: Tonight will bring another round of clear and crisp conditions, with lows dipping into the 40s. Saturday will stay pleasant with mostly sunny skies, light winds, and highs in the low to mid-70s. Just remember that humidity will drop below 25% again Saturday afternoon keeping fire danger elevated across the region. Avoid outdoor burning, as dry fuels and light winds could allow flames to spread quickly.

By late Sunday, changes begin to move in. Round 1 of wet weather arrives Sunday night into Monday as a low-pressure system drifts in from the west, spreading clouds and steady showers across the CSRA. Most areas will see a soaking rain, and while widespread storms aren’t expected, an isolated rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out.
