SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Watertown is the host of this year’s state cheer and dance competition.

Class A teams took the floor this evening.

Dakota Valley coming into the competitive dance with 15 championships in a row.

And this POM routine helped make it #16.

The Panthers win the Grand Championship with 590 points, Winner Area in second with 460.5, Platte Geddes/AC/DC third, 442 points, with 451.5 Gregory took fourth, Lakota Tech rounds out the top five.

Over to the competitive cheer competition, another very successful program, Sioux Valley, the Cossacks won the Class A Competitive Cheer Grand Championship with 283 points, Wolsey-Wessington and St.Mary’s took second and third, they were separated by just two points, Winner Area and Dell Rapids also finished in the top f
