Virat Kohli looked more involved than ever during the ODI series, diving around and keeping the energy levels high in the field during the third and final match in Sydney on Saturday. The former captain pulled off a stunning catch in the 23rd over of the Australian innings to dismiss Matthew Short, who was well set in the middle.

Kohli appeared momentarily stunned by his own reflexes after taking the sensational catch at short mid-wicket, intercepting a fiercely struck shot from Short. He had barely a second to react as the Australian batter attempted a powerful sweep off Washington Sundar, who had dropped one short. Kohli instinctively moved his head away from the line of the ball, spotted it mid-air, and completed the catch cleanly.
